Anforderungen
- 5+ years M&A/transaction experience
- Strong foundation in Investment Banking, Big Four Transaction/Deal Advisory, Corporate Development, or comparable transaction-focused environment
- Proven hands-on transaction execution experience
- Several years in-house Corporate Development or M&A experience within an international company (ideal)
- Excellent financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent valuation capabilities
- Excellent business case capabilities
- Strong financial acumen
- Confidence working with complex financial information
- Solid experience in financial due diligence
- Solid experience in cross-functional due diligence
- Ability to independently coordinate multiple workstreams throughout a transaction
- Strong commercial judgement
- Strong business understanding
- Ability to assess products, markets, business models and value-creation potential
- Proactive, structured and hands-on mindset
- Confidence to take ownership
- Confidence to work independently
- Confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders in an international environment
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- Fluent English
- German language skills (advantageous)
- Previous experience in an international corporate environment (advantageous)
Aufgaben
- Own and execute international M&A transactions end-to-end
- Drive transactions from initial assessment through closing
- Develop business cases for transactions
- Build and challenge financial models and valuations
- Translate complex financial and commercial information into recommendations
- Lead and coordinate due diligence processes across multiple functions
- Drive multiple transaction workstreams
- Act as the central point of coordination for stakeholders and advisors
- Take ownership of smaller and mid-sized transactions
- Work closely with senior leadership on larger strategic deals
- Support key transaction milestones, including LOIs and closing activities
- Contribute to a global transaction portfolio spanning acquisitions, divestitures, and investments
