Aufgaben
- Design, operate, and evolve Ceph clusters for block, object/S3, and file storage
- Own the end-to-end storage hardware lifecycle
- Automate storage node provisioning on OpenStack-managed bare metal
- Run upgrades, rebalancing, and reconfigurations as routine production operations
- Evolve Infrastructure as Code and GitOps setup with Ansible, Terraform, and FluxCD/ArgoCD
- Ensure storage integrates cleanly with OpenStack and Kubernetes
- Own capacity planning and growth forecasting
- Build out monitoring, testing, and failure-injection around performance, durability, and security
- Use LLMs and agentic tools for development, testing, reviews, incident triage, knowledge retrieval, or automation
- Act as a technical reference and sparring partner for Ceph, storage, automation, and AI tooling
- Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the team
