Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of modern application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native design principles
- Experience designing/building/integrating ABAC or RBAC controls/systems (IAM)
- Strong Java experience, ecosystem, Spring Boot, J2EE/Jakarta EE, modern JDKs
- Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable, implementable solution components
- Experience working with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, architecture/governance forums
- Strong communication skills, explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in financial services, asset management, or regulated environment
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with .NET, TypeScript, Python, or modern front-end/service development approaches
- Understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, data governance, data consumption patterns
- Experience with TOGAF, SAFe, or comparable architecture and delivery frameworks
- Experience defining reusable architecture patterns, decision trees, architecture decision records, design standards
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, ability to assess practical relevance for enterprise adoption
- Confident conversational and professional proficiency (B2) in German, comfortable negotiating, presenting, collaborating with German-speaking clients
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows, solve business problems, apply critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
Aufgaben
- Translate requirements into solution designs, building blocks, services, data pipelines, integrations, and user-facing components
- Own and drive end-to-end solution design, ensuring alignment with DWS architecture principles, technology strategy, security requirements, and design governance
- Define data ingestion, transformation, management, and consumption approaches with data architects
- Guide and coach engineering teams during implementation to ensure designs are understood, practical, and delivered as intended
- Collaborate with Domain Architects and fellow Solution and Data Architects to create architecture decision records, reusable patterns, and practical guidance
- Support delivery teams in presenting and defending solution designs through relevant architecture and design authorities
- Evaluate, prototype, and assess new technologies, deriving practical usage patterns to modernize and improve the DWS technology estate
