Aufgaben
- Take ownership of compute infrastructure reliability, capacity, and cost efficiency
- Manage hybrid platform infrastructure across AWS and on-prem
- Manage on-prem clusters powering research, including hardware lifecycle
- Shape platform architecture with strong technical positions
- Weigh technical positions with peers and commit to decisions
- Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters
- Manage Kubernetes clusters from design through long-term operation
- Drive technical work to deepen the hybrid model
- Unify workload execution across on-prem hardware and cloud
- Support research adopting cloud-native technology
- Define infrastructure-as-code and platform standards
- Strengthen observability and security for platform teams
- Mentor engineers across the infrastructure track
- Raise the technical bar through design reviews and architecture decisions
- Maintain the platform through everyday habits
- Build consensus across engineering teams
- Shape platform direction at the track level
- Lead incident response for hybrid infrastructure
- Drive remediation through to root cause
- Help sustain an on-call rotation for the long term
