Anforderungen
- Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related field, or equivalent qualification
- Previous professional experience in counselling, educational psychology, wellbeing, or similar role
- Experience with young adults and/or students, preferably in international/multicultural environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Minimum A2 level in German, written and spoken (recommended)
- Experience in higher education or international student environment
- Experience designing and evaluating mental health or wellbeing programmes
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Knowledge of student safeguarding and appropriate referral procedures
- Proactive, empathetic, and adaptable approach to student welfare
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
Aufgaben
- Promote student wellbeing, personal development, and adjustment
- Focus on a preventative approach to mental health and wellbeing
- Provide individual support, workshops, campaigns, and group activities
- Work with Student Engagement, Student Life, and academic teams
- Identify student needs and develop targeted wellbeing initiatives
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment
- Provide short-term, focused counselling appointments
- Design, deliver, and evaluate wellbeing workshops
- Design, deliver, and evaluate awareness campaigns
- Design, deliver, and evaluate group activities
- Analyze student feedback, participation, and wellbeing data
- Evaluate initiatives and inform future programmes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student welfare activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling appointments
- Work with the Student Life Team and academic teams
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive student experience
- Liaise with external healthcare providers
- Liaise with local authorities
- Liaise with relevant services when required
