Aufgaben
- Develop and implement supply-chain strategy for the development programme
- Lead Planning, Purchasing, and Fast Make Manufacturing
- Establish scalable processes, systems, and organisation
- Provide supply-chain performance, risk, and recovery reporting
- Own material and capacity planning aligned to programme milestones
- Ensure critical and long-lead components are identified and secured
- Drive build readiness and resolve material shortages and constraints
- Ensure engineering changes are rapidly reflected in supply plans
- Develop sourcing strategies and build a capable, responsive supplier base
- Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and performance management
- Manage supplier Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance
- Identify and mitigate single-source, capacity, and long-lead risks
- Lead Fast Make / prototyping capability supporting rapid engineering iteration
- Establish make/buy strategies and internal/external prototype capacity
- Reduce prototype manufacturing lead times while maintaining quality controls
- Develop capability and processes for transitioning prototypes into production
- Embed Supply Chain into the engineering development process
- Provide input on manufacturability, sourcing, cost, capacity, and lead time
- Own supply-chain deliverables within the programme plan
- Ensure material and manufacturing readiness for key development milestones
- Establish critical component and supplier risk management process
- Manage development procurement spend and identify cost-reduction opportunities
- Establish KPIs for material availability, supplier performance, prototype lead time, shortages, and programme readiness
- Drive continuous improvement across the development supply chain
