Anforderungen
- Relevant experience in transport operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of transport KPIs, capacity planning, and carrier management
- Hands-on mentality, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with SAP TM, Transporteon, or similar systems (plus)
- Fluent English skills
- German language skills (advantage)
- Polish language skills (advantage)
Aufgaben
- Lead and develop the Transport Planning team
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing environment
- Ensure smooth and reliable inbound and outbound transport operations
- Secure sufficient transport capacity
- Proactively manage operational risks and disruptions
- Monitor and continuously improve OTIF and service levels
- Monitor and continuously improve transport quality and 3PL performance
- Review forecasts and stock projections
- Anticipate future transport and warehouse capacity requirements
- Lead root cause analyses
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and strengthen day-to-day operational relationships with carriers and 3PL partners
- Drive transport efficiency and cost optimization
- Ensure business continuity
- Ensure high data quality
- Ensure effective use of transport management systems
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Warehousing, Production, Customer Service, and Procurement
