Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Proven proficiency in warehousing, logistics, transportation, and trade operations in Germany and EU.
- Hands-on experience managing warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfillment, performance).
- Experience managing 3PLs, warehouse operators, or outsourced logistics providers via KPIs and governance.
- Experience participating in warehouse design, startup, relocation, expansion, automation, or readiness projects.
- Strong understanding of warehouse layout, material flow, storage, standardization, cycle counting, capacity planning.
- Working knowledge of EU logistics regulations, cross-border distribution, customs, trade operations.
- Experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or field service logistics.
- Experience supporting Service Distribution Centers or spare parts logistics operations.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, value stream mapping, Gemba walks, or operational excellence methodologies.
- Exposure to Mega-Hub, co-location, consolidation, or regional warehouse network optimization initiatives.
Aufgaben
- Manage warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfillment, reverse logistics, and distribution.
- Provide operational leadership for warehouse performance.
- Represent warehousing needs in facility projects.
- Partner on warehouse layout, material flow, and operational readiness.
- Support warehouse automation implementation and optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
- Manage 3PL and service provider performance.
- Contribute to Mega-Hub optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate regional distribution with transportation and trade operations.
- Collaborate to optimize inventory, replenishment, and distribution flows.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance to leadership.
- Travel to oversee operations and ensure compliance.
