- Own accounting for all entities, including pre-accounting in-house
- Manage full ownership of the accounting stack
- Transition to fully in-house accounting by 2027
- Run month-end, quarterly, and annual closings
- Perform revenue reporting down to the invoice line item
- Conduct cost and profit center reporting
- Manage VAT and sales tax
- Oversee employment tax and contributions
- Handle international tax matters
- Manage transfer pricing between entities
- Own cash flow and treasury planning
- Manage cash flow forecasting
- Oversee cash reserves
- Optimize investment returns
- Manage intercompany transfers
- Handle foreign exchange (FX) transactions
- Roll out a lean ERP system
- Automate manual finance processes with workflows and AI agents
- Build and lead the finance team
- Hire the first finance team member shortly after joining
- Work directly with founders
- Collaborate with the extended leadership team
