Aufgaben

Oversee mechanical and structural development activities.
Lead mechanical design, structural analysis, and simulation engineers.
Provide technical leadership and ensure high engineering standards.
Drive mechanical and structural development through the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with Flight Physics, Testing, Hardware & Software, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
Lead and develop the Mechanical & Structural Design Team.
Manage team recruitment, resource planning, budgeting, and performance.
Provide technical leadership in mechanical design, composite materials, and structural dynamics.
Define and drive development strategy for CycloRotor propulsion systems.
Ensure design maturity and technical integrity.
Approve analyses, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Lead technical trade studies and engineering decisions.
Optimize for performance, reliability, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
Identify and mitigate mechanical and structural technical risks.
Ensure structural integrity, durability, and dynamic behavior are demonstrated.
Define mechanical and structural validation requirements.
Support component, subsystem, and system-level test activities.
Maintain hands-on involvement in hardware development.
Support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Establish and improve engineering methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Work with suppliers and external partners on component development.
Support manufacturing readiness and technical problem solving with partners.
