Aufgaben
- Design, implement, and improve asset-backed optimization and trading algorithms
- Account for market rules, physical asset constraints, and trading risk controls
- Translate complex optimization problems into clear design choices and production code
- Propose practical enhancements to existing strategies
- Clarify requirements with the Optimization Product Owner and Team Lead
- Define expected outcomes and acceptance criteria
- Evaluate technical options, estimates, and trade-offs
- Develop rigorous backtests, simulations, and controlled experiments
- Evaluate algorithm performance across realistic scenarios and data limitations
- Analyze live trading behavior, data quality, and performance drivers
- Identify algorithm weaknesses and deliver evidence-based improvements
- Build diagnostics, observability, and safe operating behavior into algorithms
- Investigate production issues with Trading Operations
- Implement lasting solutions for production issues
- Take ownership of technical quality through code reviews
- Ensure quality through automated testing and safe releases
- Create maintainable, reusable designs across assets and markets
- Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools for acceleration
- Apply sound technical judgment and engineering safeguards
- Share knowledge and support colleagues through technical reviews
- Participate in pairing and collaborative problem-solving
- Document design decisions and specialist expertise
- Contribute to prioritized discovery, pilots, and backtesting
- Enable new markets by working with Platform/Integration Engineering
