- Strong construction, prefabricated building systems, and project delivery expertise
- Extensive experience in cost engineering, value engineering, construction cost management, design optimization, or technical project delivery within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, contractor interfaces, and project cost drivers
- Proven track record of delivering measurable cost reductions and business impact
- Strong analytical mindset translating technical solutions to financial outcomes
- Experience with industrialized construction, modular building systems, prefabrication, or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with timber construction, German-speaking construction markets, and digital costing tools
- Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies
Aufgaben
- Support developing and implementing cost optimization strategy
- Apply design-to-cost, should-cost, value engineering, and target-costing methodologies across product development, manufacturing, procurement, and construction functions
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize cost optimization opportunities for building systems, components, materials, and construction interfaces
- Develop and maintain transparent cost models and benchmarks
- Drive and support cost optimization initiatives
- Partner with teams to embed cost awareness
