Anforderungen
- University degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
- Aerospace requirements management experience
- System architecture experience
- Verification experience

- Safety assessment experience
- Safety analysis methods experience (FHA, FMEA, PSSA, SSA)
- Desirable knowledge of electric propulsion or electrical drive systems
- Good knowledge of SAE ARP4754A and SAE ARP4761A
- Good knowledge of equivalent aerospace development processes
- Good knowledge of equivalent aerospace safety processes
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C / EUROCAE ED-12C
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-254 / EUROCAE ED-80
- Desirable understanding of aerospace certification processes
- Desirable understanding of interaction with certification authorities
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take technical ownership
- Ability to coordinate across engineering disciplines
- Ability to mentor others
Aufgaben
- Establish and drive Systems Engineering and Safety activities
- Lead and coordinate system-level requirements definition
- Act as a key technical integrator for mechanical design, control systems, software, hardware, testing, and manufacturing
- Define and maintain the system architecture and interfaces of the propulsion system
- Drive system design decisions considering safety, performance, reliability, maintainability, testability, manufacturability, and certification requirements
- Plan, perform, and coordinate system safety assessments, including FHA, PSSA/SSA, and FMEA
- Derive and manage safety requirements and support their allocation
- Support the definition and justification of Development Assurance Levels (DAL/FDAL)
- Identify, assess, and mitigate system-level technical and safety risks
- Ensure effective integration of subsystems and components
- Define and support system verification and validation strategies
- Provide required system and safety engineering evidence for certification
- Manage product requirements, interfaces, assumptions, and changes
- Establish and continuously improve Systems Engineering and Safety processes, methods, and tools
- Support the growth of the System & Safety Engineering function
- Take increasing responsibility for technical leadership, mentoring, and team development
