Anforderungen
- Degree or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Initial practical experience in accounting, finance, or audit (internships or previous assignments are an advantage)
- Interest in general accounting, month-end closing, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and payroll accounting
- Strong interest in taxation and willingness to develop knowledge of Austrian accounting and tax requirements
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP or another ERP system is an advantage
- Fluent in English; German knowledge is an advantage
- Proactive, structured, reliable, and willing to learn and take ownership
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders
- International mindset and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Aufgaben
- Validate accounting documents
- Monitor all accounting operations
- Apply accounting techniques and Alstom standards to classify and record financial transactions
- Perform monthly reconciliation of main P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Carry out analysis and make recommendations
- Manage overhead-related accruals and postings
- Coordinate inter-company invoices/recharges (ICS)
- Validate bank reconciliations, payment processing, and payroll control
- Follow up on FCF1 reporting (payables, receivables)
- Handle depreciation journals, fixed assets monitoring, and insurance allocations
- Support internal audit files, tax pack reporting, and Teranga reporting
