Anforderungen
- 12–15 years of experience, including 8+ years serving pharma, biotech or medtech clients at a life sciences–focused consultancy or the life sciences practice of a strategy or technology firm. Later move in-house welcome.
- Currently Director, Principal or Associate Partner with personal sales target, ready for Partner step.
- Track record of origination with life sciences clients, including revenue sold beyond extending existing accounts.
- Network among decision-makers in Swiss life sciences industry, especially Basel and Zurich, actively growing.
- Working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation, and their application to data and AI systems.
- Working fluency in data and AI, discussing AI use case needs, costs, and payback.
- Fluent English. German is a strong advantage, French a plus.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Zurich area, with regular travel to Basel.
Aufgaben
- Scale the Swiss Life Sciences practice, its offer, client base, and team
- Grow existing client relationships and win new clients
- Lead senior client stakeholders through data and AI transformation
- Oversee project delivery and quality assurance on life sciences engagements
- Provide strategic support to ongoing client programs
- Spar with the Swiss Managing Partner on practice strategy and investment
- Define where data and AI create value along the pharma value chain
- Translate value creation into Swiss offers with clear entry points, scope, and pricing
- Build a go-to-market plan for Swiss life sciences
- Own the pipeline and write proposals addressing client problems
- Navigate pharma procurement, including vendor qualification and framework agreements
- Sponsor and oversee engagements run by Engagement Managers
- Ensure quality of deliverables with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure delivery meets regulatory requirements, including GxP and FADP/GDPR
- Be accountable for client satisfaction, project margin, and team experience
- Speak and publish on AI in life sciences
- Turn Swiss life sciences work into references and case studies
- Bring references and case studies into Artefact’s global practice
- Hire and develop consultants with life sciences experience
- Train the wider Swiss team on the life sciences domain
- Own staffing on your engagements
