Aufgaben
- Lead the development of policy positions, narrative, and guidance
- Analyze evidence from field programs and secondary sources
- Understand the global policy environment for food and economic security
- Lead the development of processes, models, and guidance for field teams
- Support field teams in applying methods to analyze hostilities' impact
- Engage with Protection and Legal colleagues to align analytical approaches
- Work with the Open Source Information team to analyze hostilities' impact
- Ensure policy and analytical approaches align with Health, Water/Habitat, and Weapons Contamination
- Support integrated approaches to public health and protection risk reduction
- Align indicators, monitoring, and reporting approaches within EcoSec and across métiers
- Contribute to efforts to strengthen integrated problem analysis and program design
- Support the Head of Unit on external positioning
- Participate in and prepare for engagements with humanitarian peers, academia, donors, and development actors
- Lead external communication on food/economic security policy issues
- Engage with international financial institutions and donors on technical and funding dimensions
- Contribute to donor proposals with HQ specialists, regional partners, and field coordinators
- Engage internally with Resource Mobilization counterparts on donor interaction and proposal development
- Contribute to the design of new funding mechanisms and innovative partnerships
