Aufgaben
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Oversee accounting processes and external providers
- Investigate complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and transactions
- Use automation and AI to reduce repetitive work
- Strengthen financial controls
- Move towards exception-based accounting processes
- Coordinate accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities for a team
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Investigate and resolve outstanding items
- Maintain the closing calendar, responsibilities, and controls
- Improve the speed, quality, and reliability of the close
- Act as a key Finance contact for annual audits and reviews
- Provide required financial information and documentation for audits
- Partner with FP&A for timely and accurate financial reporting
- Own monthly Group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies
- Manage intercompany entries, reconciliations, and eliminations
- Review foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments
- Maintain the Group consolidation structure and consistency
- Coordinate VAT compliance across all operating countries
- Supervise VAT returns and reconciliations
- Ensure correct VAT treatment for various transaction types
- Coordinate other indirect tax obligations
- Support corporate income tax filings and tax provisions
- Maintain the compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of obligations
- Support transfer pricing and intercompany recharges
- Own accounting and financial reporting processes within NetSuite
- Investigate and resolve NetSuite system and accounting issues
- Improve automation across reconciliations, consolidation, and reporting
- Ensure accurate financial data flows from operational systems
- Identify process weaknesses and implement practical solutions
- Document key Finance processes and accounting policies
- Ensure appropriate documentation and audit trails
- Make AI and automation core to Finance operations
- Identify and automate recurring accounting, closing, reconciliation, and compliance activities
- Design AI-enabled workflows for financial processes
- Develop an exception-based approach for transaction review
- Use AI to investigate financial data and identify unusual transactions
- Accelerate root-cause analysis with AI
- Build reusable Finance workflows, agents, and controls
- Ensure controls, documentation, data protection, and human validation for AI processes
- Measure impact through process improvements
- Understand the Group structure, accounting setup, and close process
- Identify key process and automation opportunities
- Own the Group close and consolidation end to end
