Aufgaben
- Lead Austrian and Swiss branches with accountability for underwriting, portfolio quality, and growth
- Own the Austrian and Swiss P&L, meeting profitability and growth targets
- Develop and execute country business strategies and financial plans
- Steer distribution performance across channels, focusing on broker partnerships, retention, and new production
- Ensure high-performing operations across Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, and support functions
- Monitor, report, and address operational risks, opportunities, and development plans
- Drive continuous operational improvement initiatives for service quality, efficiency, and cost discipline
- Ensure robust governance, systems, controls, and regulatory compliance
- Engage effectively with local regulators
- Represent AIG with major clients and broker partners
- Expand and elevate the AIG (DACH) brand and external profile
- Build and sustain relationships with regulators and external stakeholders
- Provide leadership for escalation and issue resolution
- Lead hiring and resource allocation decisions
- Build and sustain a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- Drive talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development
- Set clear performance expectations, coach leaders, and hold teams accountable
- Communicate the AIG DACH vision, mission, and strategic direction
- Serve as an active member of the DACH Senior Leadership Team
