Anforderungen
- University degree in environmental engineering, engineering, sustainability, or related field
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Operational experience in scope 1&2, waste, emission reduction projects/initiatives in manufacturing sites
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in environmental roles, ideally local and global organizations
- Deep technical expertise in greenhouse gas accounting and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)
- Strategic thinking with hands-on, pragmatic approach and solid operational background
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results with limited oversight
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, including experience engaging with senior executive leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% internationally
- Strong English language skills
Aufgaben
- Lead the development and execution of the global environmental strategy
- Design and implement a climate transition plan to reduce emissions
- Develop and implement global environmental policies and processes
- Drive initiatives in environmental compliance, pollution prevention, and waste reduction
- Drive initiatives in water stewardship and biodiversity conservation
- Stay ahead of emerging climate and environmental regulations and standards
- Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics
- Oversee corporate carbon accounting for emissions measurement and reporting
- Support external disclosures such as CDP and sustainability reports
