Anforderungen
- Swiss Federal Diploma as Specialist in Finance and Accounting or Fiduciary Specialist, or equivalent international qualification (ACCA, CPA)
- Confident closing under Swiss Code of Obligations (CO)
- Hands-on experience with IFRS or US GAAP
- Proven experience building and documenting internal control system under Swiss law
- Track record of process improvements and automation in ERP systems
- Knowledge of Business Central or Navision is an advantage
- Technical leadership without hierarchy
- Drive to deliver
- Enjoyment in shaping structures
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience with Power Query or Power BI is a plus
- Fluent German, written and spoken
- Very good English, written and spoken
- Willingness to work on site in Visp at least three days per week
Aufgaben
- Hold overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Support group consolidation
- Manage relationships with statutory auditors
- Coordinate audits
- Stay on top of VAT and Tax regulations
- Ensure compliance with Swiss law
- Prepare VAT returns and tax closings
- Own the concept, build-up, and development of the internal control system
- Manage the risk-control matrix and documentation
- Define key controls and segregation of duties in Finance and ERP
- Monitor effective performance of controls
- Own accounting policies and the accounting manual
- Act as ERP System owner
- Lead the development of the record-to-report process in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Prioritize automation initiatives
- Steer implementation of automation initiatives with ERP partner
- Establish a binding closing calendar
- Set KPIs on closing speed and quality
- Provide technical leadership to accountants on financial topics
- Support accountant development
- Ensure proper deputising for accountants
- Deputise for the Senior Controller
- Lead finance projects independently
