Aufgaben
- Lead global procurement activities for new product design and development projects
- Ensure alignment with Procurement Policy (POL-61) and Corporate Procurement Procedures (SOP-271)
- Procure goods and services economically with minimal risk, focusing on technical materials and services
- Optimize procurement potential for the benefit of the entire supply chain
- Target costing for R&D support
- Bundle demand across direct categories in Design & Development and Concept phases
- Manage suppliers across direct categories in Design & Development and Concept phases
- Manage commodities across direct categories in Design & Development and Concept phases
- Ensure compliance with material and supplier strategies in product design and development
- Actively participate in product development projects
- Exchange information closely with project managers
- Act as a procurement sparring partner for all procurement issues
- Ensure safe processes and support product quality in Design and Development
- Follow up on product quality in Design and Development
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers for new product introduction
- Support product adaptations to reduce costs and/or improve quality
- Collect, control, and analyze key figures
- Maintain material data in SAP until product launch
- Act as deputy for NPI procurement colleagues
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Category Leaders/Managers
- Support Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects to reduce costs
- Bring knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices
- Identify opportunities for innovation in sourcing
- Understand sourcing demand across sub-categories
- Sign contracts and Statements of Work for new projects
- Engage with technical and financial stakeholders to generate procurement phase plans
- Align procurement phase plans with strategy and process
- Deliver on planned objectives, such as savings and time to source
- Operate compliantly in accordance with Sonova processes and ways of working
- Understand Design to Cost principles
- Implement negotiation and influencing techniques
- Manage supplier relationships
- Maintain accurate and current supplier segmentation data
- Maintain a clear view on supplier preferencing
- Support business process improvement initiatives
