Anforderungen
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
- Progress towards recognised professional actuarial qualification (e.g., first actuarial exams passed) is an advantage
- Experience across multiple lines of business and ideally multiple types of business (e.g., P&C, reinsurance, corporate insurance)
- Demonstrated contribution to actuarial model, analysis, and process development, enhancement, and implementation
- Strong quantitative financial and risk modelling skills, including stochastic modelling techniques
- Ability to communicate actuarial results clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Solid finance and insurance know-how, ideally in P&C, with understanding of insurance group complexities
- Job-specific knowledge of market dynamics, actuarial concepts, regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office (incl. VBA) and relevant expert systems
- Experience in an international working environment, including comfort with cross-border collaboration
- Proficiency in English; a second language is an asset
- Familiarity with AI-assisted actuarial tools, data analytics platforms, or automation workflows is a plus
Aufgaben
- Prepare and perform actuarial analyses for your assigned business area
- Document, communicate, and explain actuarial analysis results to stakeholders
- Drive assigned actuarial topics end-to-end, from stochastic modelling to discounting technical provisions
- Develop and enhance global actuarial approaches, processes, and models
- Support projects through documentation and testing
- Promote collaboration with business areas to understand financial impacts
- Keep abreast of leading market practice and drive innovation
- Peer review work from fellow team members
- Mentor and guide junior actuarial staff
- Identify and suggest process improvements
