- Project management certification
- 10–12 years of professional experience in WaSH project management
- At least 2 years in international aid sector
- Proven experience managing consultants, contractors, and contracts
- Experience in managing medium to large-scale projects
- Proficiency in computer and drawing software
- Possess a driving license (for manual transmission vehicles)
- Prepared to accept unaccompanied postings for at least 24 months
- Good health and medical check-up prior to departure
Aufgaben
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with partners
- Conduct needs assessments, feasibility studies, and project proposals
- Define project scope, resources, costs, and timelines
- Develop and implement project methodologies and technical designs
- Develop and implement work plans in alignment with ICRC policies
- Manage procurement, contracts, and project teams
- Oversee project implementation and ensure alignment with objectives
- Monitor progress to achieve expected outcomes
- Anticipate and address challenges
- Propose and implement corrective actions
- Ensure proper commissioning and handover of infrastructure
- Provide training for stakeholders
- Share lessons learned
- Contribute to the development of sector methodologies and resources
- Represent the ICRC in negotiations with institutions, stakeholders, and communities
- Manage complex or large multidisciplinary WaSH projects
- Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders or multi-phase implementation timelines
- Lead the delivery of critical projects
- Ensure alignment with operational and institutional priorities
- Influence project outcomes through coordination with stakeholders, technical experts, and partners
- Contribute to sustainable and scalable energy solutions
- Manage project resources, risks, quality, and implementation performance
