Anforderungen
- University degree
- Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, or similar
- Experience in biodiversity assessment or crediting
- Very good knowledge of biodiversity legislation, strategies, and reporting
- High understanding of certification systems and sustainability standards
- Very good understanding of relevant EU legislation and sustainability developments
- Knowledge of EU Carbon Farming and Carbon Removals framework (asset)
- Excellent analytical and research skills, attention to detail
- Very good communication, copywriting, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Willingness to take initiative and contribute to biodiversity activities
- Very good English skills (C1)
- Good German language skills
Aufgaben
- Conduct biodiversity risk assessments and support biodiversity credit feasibility studies
- Analyze biodiversity co-benefits in carbon farming and sustainability projects
- Contribute to implementing the EU LIFE project
- Develop and maintain specialized knowledge on biodiversity assessment and crediting
- Contribute to developing Meo Carbon Solutions’ biodiversity expertise and services
- Support the team with research tasks and developing new approaches and solutions
- Prepare presentations, reports, and project materials
- Support project teams with biodiversity expertise and analyses
