Anforderungen
- Completed degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, human biology, toxicology, or comparable scientific field
- Strong interest in toxicology, biological safety, and regulatory risk assessment
- Professional experience in toxicology or human toxicology, biological safety and biocompatibility, preclinical research or development, regulatory evaluation of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare products, scientific literature evaluation, or medical writing
- Experience in preparing toxicological assessments, Biological Evaluation Reports, or comparable scientific-regulatory documentation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, particularly MDR and ISO 10993 series
- Experience in critically evaluating scientific literature and deriving toxicological conclusions and risk assessments
- Strong analytical skills and scientific writing proficiency
- Very good written and spoken German and English (C1 level or higher)
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, strong team orientation, quick comprehension, willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to continuously develop professional expertise
- Professional approach to constructive feedback
- Ability to work independently and accurately
Aufgaben
- Research, analyze, and critically evaluate toxicological, biological, and scientific data from literature, databases, and reports
- Prepare scientific and regulatory assessments for toxicology and biological safety
- Derive health-based limit values (e.g., PDE, ADE, TTC) and evaluate substances, materials, processes, chemical data, impurities, and leachables
- Advise clients on biological safety, toxicology, and regulatory strategy for national and international approvals
- Provide scientific advice and technical project management to clients
