Anforderungen
- Completed Master's degree in development/humanitarian field
- At least 7 years experience in international cooperation/humanitarian assistance, transitional aid, disaster risk reduction
- Sound knowledge of humanitarian system (HDP nexus, CHS, coordination, financing, Grand Bargain)
- Sound knowledge of humanitarian donor landscape (AA, BMZ ÜH, ECHO, WFP)
- Expertise in portfolio and project management
- Expertise in fund acquisition, proposal development, compliance, quality assurance
- Knowledge of international institutional and private donor landscape
- Knowledge of personnel management and organisational development
- Several years of leadership experience (technical and disciplinary)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Networking ability
- Intercultural and diplomatic competence
- Resilience, integrity, structured, goal-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
Aufgaben
- Lead the humanitarian cluster and provide strategic steering
- Ensure strategic direction, performance, and impact of the humanitarian project portfolio
- Contribute to the strategic development of the International Programmes Division
- Collaborate within the International Programmes Management Team
- Align cluster activities with division strategic goals
- Strategically steer the cluster portfolio, including income planning and fundraising appeals
- Hold programmatic and financial-administrative responsibility
- Assume responsibility for the proposal phase and quality assurance
- Drive business development to open new funding streams
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy with growth ambition
- Forecast income and steer fund acquisition with assigned donors
- Manage and develop assigned Global Accounts (ECHO, WFP)
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the team
- Plan staff resources and manage workload across the cluster
- Steer personnel-administrative measures in collaboration with People & Culture
- Foster an inclusive and appreciative working culture
- Strengthen the humanitarian profile of Plan International Germany
- Contribute strategically to system topics (HDP nexus, CHS, Grand Bargain)
- Build strategic relationships with humanitarian donors and partners
- Represent the organisation in relevant forums and networks
- Represent organisational values in daily decisions and behaviour
- Comply with legal and organisational requirements
