Anforderungen
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in satellite instrument data processing systems
- Experience with data-driven, automated systems in corporate IT networks
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Experience in operational monitoring, anomaly investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Experience developing and maintaining operational procedures, documentation, or configuration data
- Knowledge of scripting and database technologies (Python, Shell, PostgreSQL)
- Experience in operational validation, system integration, verification, or testing
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
- Experience with Earth Observation or meteorological data processing systems
- Knowledge of satellite instrument data and product processing (Level-0 to Level-2)
- Experience validating complex remote sensing data processing systems
- Knowledge of spacecraft operations or satellite ground segment systems
- Experience with configuration management, change control, and operational readiness
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, or IDL)
- Experience with quality control, calibration, and validation processes
- Familiarity with ECSS standards
- Experience with operational performance monitoring, KPI generation, and reporting
- Willingness and availability for standby and call-out support
Aufgaben
- Support operations, monitoring, and maintenance of satellite data processing systems
- Support operational data processing chains
- Monitor payload instrument data ingestion, processing, and distribution
- Ensure operational performance, service continuity, quality, and timely data product delivery
- Investigate, document, classify, and follow up on operational anomalies
- Contribute to anomaly resolution and mitigation
- Participate in anomaly and change control review boards
- Develop, maintain, and improve operational monitoring tools
- Develop, maintain, and improve production statistics, KPIs, and reports
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and validation of operational procedures
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and validation of user documentation
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and validation of data processing system configuration data
- Support operational validation activities
- Prepare, execute, and coordinate validation and test campaigns
- Assess the operational data processing impact of planned system changes
- Assess the operational data processing impact of ground segment evolutions
- Contribute to the integration of system changes and evolutions
- Contribute to the testing of system changes and evolutions
- Contribute to the implementation of system changes and evolutions
- Contribute to the configuration control of system changes and evolutions
- Support the integration and validation of system components
- Support the integration and validation of new data products
- Support activities related to operational readiness
- Support activities related to calibrations and validation
- Support activities related to commissioning
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams
- Coordinate with external operational partners
- Coordinate with other service providers
- Ensure effective operational data delivery
- Contribute to the automation of operational processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes
