- Align market trends, technology platforms, product strategies, and manufacturing capabilities
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Business Units, Operations, and Technology Platforms
- Identify synergies and leverage core capabilities
- Support scalable innovation
- Translate technology roadmap priorities into R&D portfolio decisions
- Develop strategic investment plans
- Initiate capability development initiatives
- Provide executive-level analyses and recommendations on future technology opportunities
- Identify strategic growth areas
- Identify technology partnerships
- Identify capability gaps
- Integrate market, customer, application, and competitive intelligence into planning
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment
- Support strategic decision-making for business priorities and technology investments
- Establish governance structures, processes, tools, and standards for roadmapping
- Ensure transparency, consistency, and effectiveness of technology roadmapping and portfolio management
