Anforderungen
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent in automation engineering, robotics, mechatronics, biotechnology, chemical engineering, computer science, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline
- Substantial hands-on experience in laboratory automation, industrial automation, robotics, system integration, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry
- Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, laboratory equipment and digital integration technologies such as OPC-UA, APIs, instrument control software and industrial communication interfaces
- Familiarity with programming, scripting and data-driven workflows, ideally including Python and automation-related software tools
- Strong interest in emerging technologies such as AI-enabled laboratory workflows, digital twins, autonomous laboratories, high-throughput automation or closed-loop experimentation
- Hands-on problem solver working directly with laboratory equipment, stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams
- Thrives in collaborative environments requiring technical expertise, initiative and customer focus
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

- Identify, design, implement, and scale automation solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain laboratory automation solutions
- Develop and optimize automated laboratory workflows
- Integrate laboratory instruments, automation platforms, and digital systems
- Lead or support automation projects from concept through deployment
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, digital experts, data scientists, IT partners, and external suppliers
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user training
- Conduct continuous improvement activities for deployed systems
- Evaluate emerging automation technologies
- Identify opportunities to scale innovative solutions
