Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant procurement, road freight, or logistics experience
- Experience with European LTL/FTL networks and cross-border transport
- Experience balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to use data for sourcing and pricing decisions
- Advantageous experience with procurement systems, BI tools, or TMS platforms
- Execution-focused, proactive, and structured approach
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English
- Additional European languages highly valued but not mandatory
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Advantageous ERP, procurement platforms, and transport systems
Aufgaben
- Contribute to pan-European road freight category strategies with LTL/FTL focus
- Lead and execute sourcing activities including tenders, lane pricing, carrier onboarding, and negotiations
- Establish and maintain carrier agreements balancing cost, service quality, and scalability
- Support continuous rate optimization through structured follow-up
- Manage a European road freight carrier network across domestic and cross-border flows
- Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, cost, and service quality, and drive improvements
- Ensure contract compliance and performance follow-up
- Use data to benchmark rates and support sourcing decisions
- Work with TMS and digital platforms like Oracle Transportation Management, Transporeon, and CargoWise
- Partner closely with Product teams (MGF, LCL, MEC)
- Proactively plan sourcing activities to meet operational needs
