- 7+ years professional accounting experience
- Hands-on ownership of accounting processes in international, multi-entity environment
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (German GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Experience owning monthly, quarterly, annual close
- Experience owning reconciliations, intercompany accounting, consolidation, financial reporting
- Ability to make sound accounting judgments independently
- Ability to distinguish entity-level decisions from company-wide escalations
- Experience designing, documenting, improving accounting workflows
- Experience designing, documenting, improving internal controls
- Experience designing, documenting, improving audit-ready records
- Hands-on ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite or comparable)
- Willingness to work deeply in finance-system data flows
- Fluent English
- Fluent German
- Ability to collaborate confidently across Germany and U.S.

Aufgaben
- Own technical accounting, close, and consolidation for German and US entities
- Apply IFRS, US GAAP, and German GAAP to complex accounting questions
- Make well-supported accounting decisions within your remit
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
- Own close calendars, account reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Manage eliminations and consolidation across Germany and the US
- Deliver accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting
- Explain material movements in financial results
- Provide Finance leadership with clear insight into results
- Build and strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation
- Keep accounting records complete, consistent, and audit-ready
- Ensure accounting systems work reliably together
- Improve data flows and reconciliations across NetSuite, NetAssets, Moss, and Ramp
- Resolve accounting system issues before they affect the close
- Turn recurring accounting work into scalable processes
- Introduce automation and practical tools to reduce manual effort
- Improve accuracy of accounting processes
- Work directly with Finance and business stakeholders
- Communicate accounting decisions clearly
- Surface accounting risks early
- Resolve accounting issues independently
- Escalate company-wide policy and audit-strategy decisions appropriately
