- University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or similar
- Significant data engineering experience
- Designing and operating data pipelines in AWS (S3, Athena, DMS, Glue)
- Excellent SQL skills, including advanced concepts (window functions)
- dbt experience is a plus
- Advanced cloud networking & security knowledge (AWS IAM, VPC, Security Groups)
- Proficient Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ideal)
- Strong Python programming skills
- Airflow and PySpark experience ideal
- Data streaming technologies experience (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Spark Streaming) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Interest in financial services and markets
- Fluent English communication skills
- Fluent English presentation skills
Aufgaben
- Develop a scalable, cloud-based data platform using up-to-date technologies
- Shape an AWS data processing solution, ingesting data from internal and third-party services
- Extend our lakehouse, integrating data for regulatory use cases and empowering teams for decision-making, driving innovation, performance optimization, and strategic objectives
- Prepare and clean structured and unstructured data
- Develop high-quality data models for reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases
- Design and implement testing and monitoring components for data pipelines
- Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to release smart features
- Stay up to date with data engineering and cloud architecture developments
- Share expertise and best practices within the company
