Anforderungen
- Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Geography, Environmental Engineering, International Development, or related discipline
- At least 8 years relevant professional experience in environmental and social consulting, sustainable finance, impact assessment, lender advisory, or related fields
- Extensive experience delivering environmental and social due diligence, impact assessments, audits, monitoring assignments, or lender advisory services for infrastructure projects
- Strong practical knowledge and application experience of IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, and OECD Common Approaches
- Specialist expertise in ESMS, social performance, biodiversity, human rights, land acquisition, community health, climate risk, cultural heritage, Indigenous Peoples, or supply chain sustainability
- Experience in sustainable finance, ESG risk management, climate/nature finance, sustainable investment, sustainable lending, or transition finance
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting business development, proposal preparation, and client acquisition
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior colleagues
- Contribution to a collaborative team environment
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex risks into practical recommendations
- Outstanding communication skills in English and German
- Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, or others advantageous
- Willingness to undertake international travel

- Deliver independent Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) assignments
- Manage and contribute to Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)
- Conduct gap analyses for environmental and social risks
- Perform environmental and social audits
- Undertake monitoring assignments
- Provide lender advisory mandates
- Advise on environmental and social risks and opportunities
- Advise on environmental and social compliance strategies
- Act as project manager for complex assignments
- Plan and resource projects
- Manage project budgets
- Ensure project quality assurance
- Manage project risks
- Communicate with clients
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Identify business development opportunities
- Pursue business development opportunities
- Lead proposal preparation for technical and commercial bids
- Prepare client presentations
- Submit tender documents
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants
- Coach junior and mid-level consultants
- Support junior and mid-level consultants
- Promote health, safety, and sustainability in project activities
- Promote quality and ethical business conduct in project activities
