Anforderungen
- Several years of hands-on experience as ML Engineer, ML-focused Software Engineer, or Data Scientist with strong engineering experience
- Built and operated production-grade ML systems, pipelines, or model-based products
- Experience with retail media, recommender systems, or ranking
- Comfortable with complex data and understanding of common ML failure modes
- Enjoyment of working close to business and explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership, proactive work, and comfort with ambiguity in early-stage product environment
- Valuing collaboration, open feedback, and helping others grow
Aufgaben
- Design, develop, and operate production-grade ML systems
- Create relevant advertising experiences for customers
- Create measurable value for brands and retailers
- Turn ambiguous product opportunities into scalable systems
- Collaborate with Data & AI department colleagues
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and commercial stakeholders
- Design, build, and operate ML systems for retail media use cases
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable ML solutions
- Balance model quality, latency, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop robust ML pipelines for feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous model improvement
- Bring models into production using our cloud-based stack
- Ensure ML models are reliable, observable, and maintainable
- Communicate technical decisions, assumptions, limitations, and uncertainty clearly
- Contribute to ML engineering standards and best practices
- Share knowledge within the team
