- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors
- Manage promotional activities with vendors
- Resolve operational issues with vendors
- Influence strategic vendors to prioritize customer experience
- Provide feedback on existing vendor programs
- Create new vendor programs to drive participation
- Review promotion results and adjust strategy
- Negotiate new promotions as needed
- Create strategic vendor marketing plans
- Identify areas needing vendor attention
- Direct team to address vendor issues
- Act as an escalation point for conflicts
- Audit vendor metrics regularly
- Evaluate products and services across vendors
- Implement scalable solutions to address customer pain points
- Develop and propose annual plans for vendors or categories
- Build a network in the pet industry
- Lead cross-functional projects
- Involve appropriate stakeholders in projects
