- Comfortable balancing long-term architecture with iterative improvements
- Clear, concise communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to drive alignment in ambiguous environments
- Partner with feature teams for production readiness
- Hands-on guidance on reliability best practices, launch reviews, operational standards
- Fluent in English
- Deep expertise in observability tooling and architecture
- Experience designing and operating high-scale telemetry pipelines
- Working with developers to improve instrumentation quality
- Appreciation for regulated environments (healthcare, fintech)
- Care about reliability enablement, golden paths, runbooks, shared libraries
Aufgaben
- Lead large-scale reliability initiatives across the platform
- Drive improvements to incident detection, response, and postmortem analysis
- Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Improve the on-call experience by refining alerting and reducing noise
- Mentor and coach senior engineers on reliability engineering
- Influence strategic decisions by providing technical guidance to leadership
- Represent reliability engineering in architectural reviews and platform discussions
- Partner with software engineering teams to embed reliability practices
- Partner with feature teams to accelerate production readiness
- Provide guidance on reliability best practices, launch reviews, and operational standards
