Anforderungen
- Strong academic background with hands-on procurement consulting and project management experience
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects and on-site teams, managing cost control and implementation outcomes
- Consulting toolkit including change management, stakeholder alignment, and training experience
- Commercial understanding of P&L impact of procurement improvements
- Good category knowledge including market dynamics, suppliers, cost drivers, and negotiation levers
- Familiarity with eProcurement/P2PSystems, spend analytics tools, and data visualization
- Excellent business development skills including pitch decks, proposal content, upselling, and cross-selling
- Fluent German and English (C1); additional European languages advantageous
- Willingness to work on client sites across Germany, EU, and internationally
Aufgaben
- Assess current procurement processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and strategic priorities
- Support sales and business development initiatives with the local Austrian Managing Director
- Build and scale Interpath Advisory’s presence in Austria
- Engage with potential new clients and build trusted relationships
- Identify new opportunities across the Austrian market
- Take ownership beyond project delivery
- Contribute proactively to the growth, visibility, and market positioning of the Austrian platform
- Identify improvement opportunities by analyzing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, cost drivers, and risks across procurement, logistics, planning, and distribution
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies that ensure compliance and positively impact EBITDA, working capital, and operational KPIs
- Conduct supplier evaluations and contribute to negotiations
- Manage contracts and benchmark against best practices for ongoing supplier performance management
- Communicate with stakeholders and articulate procurement value to supply chain leadership
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and spend analyses to inform strategic decision-making
- Represent Interpath’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) Procurement at industry events
- Act as a credible ambassador and thought leader for the firm
- Support large-scale change management transformation initiatives
- Support organizational restructuring, acquisition integration, and readiness planning for operational disruptions
- Participate in business development and marketing activities and events
- Expand knowledge and experience by working with Managing Directors on additional value chain topics for clients
