Aufgaben

  • Lead the engineering organization of approximately 70 engineers
  • Manage 5 Engineering Managers directly
  • Ensure the strength of the management layer
  • Oversee engineering operations including planning and capacity
  • Manage engineering hiring and performance
  • Ensure products, backend services, and platforms are shipped on time
  • Own the system that turns a roadmap into shipped, compliant software
  • Collaborate with Product Managers within the same organization
  • Share a roadmap and planning cadence with the Product lead
  • Work day to day with Engineering Managers and the Product lead
  • Ensure deliberate and coherent technical direction across teams
  • Manage tech debt as a portfolio
  • Measure and improve engineering health organization-wide
  • Enable agentic engineering for faster delivery and innovation
  • Define the engineering operating system for planning and delivery
  • Allocate capacity across engineering teams
  • Implement a unified planning cadence for all teams
  • Measure and improve throughput per engineer
  • Integrate AI-assisted development into engineering workflows
  • Translate the roadmap and regulatory calendar into multi-quarter plans
  • Ensure capacity aligns with the roadmap
  • Surface risks to the Co-CEO and management team
  • Communicate technical reality to Product, Compliance, Customer Support, Sales, and leadership
  • Oversee the reliability posture of the entire platform
  • Collaborate with SRE and QE for prevention
  • Manage incidents as a system, not through heroics
  • Ensure sustainable on-call practices
  • Standardize severity handling and postmortem actions
  • Provide reliability numbers for customers, auditors, and certification bodies
  • Run the Engineering Leadership Team meetings
  • Facilitate the spread of best practices across teams
  • Ensure decisions have a single owner
  • Integrate the new Warsaw Office into the leadership forum
  • Represent engineering to the rest of fiskaly
  • Hire, develop, and hold Engineering Managers accountable
  • Conduct 1:1s and provide feedback to Engineering Managers
  • Calibrate performance standards across teams
  • Address performance issues at the manager level
  • Own the headcount plan for the engineering organization
  • Maintain the hiring bar for the entire engineering organization
