Anforderungen
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, or related field
- Extensive recombinant protein production and purification experience
- Extensive biophysical methods experience (e.g., SEC-MALS, mass photometry, ITC, MST, fluorescence anisotropy)
- Extensive enzymatic activity assay establishment experience
- Good written and spoken English communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team, drive projects
- Advantageous: C. elegans experience (transgenic animals, cytology, phenotypic assessment)
- Advantageous: Familiarity with structural biology, cryo-EM, crystallography, or interest in structural data integration
- Advantageous: Microscopy and computational image analysis experience
- Regular work presentation and contribution to manuscripts/grants
- Rigorous, well-documented, reproducible record and data keeping
- Contribution to collaborative and supportive lab environment
Aufgaben
- Drive research on small RNA amplification machinery assembly and regulation
- Meet regularly with supervisor to prioritize tasks
- Participate in group, campus, and workshop activities
- Present at conferences and publish results
- Seek support through workshops, training, and coaching
- Educate and supervise Bachelor, Master, and PhD students
- Present work, contribute to manuscripts and grant applications
- Maintain rigorous, documented, and reproducible records
- Contribute to a collaborative lab environment
