Anforderungen
- Significant progressive experience (9+ years) in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or related discipline with substantial European multi-country responsibility
- Builder mindset with strong orientation toward scalable solutions, simplicity, governance, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience implementing compensation and/or benefits programs across multiple European markets within global frameworks or a global COE/regional operating model
- Strong understanding of European compensation practices, benefits markets, and evolving regulatory environment, including pay transparency and pay equity requirements
- Experience with European compensation benchmarking, market reviews, annual compensation process execution, incentive programs, and advising on regional application of global salary structures, job architecture, and compensation frameworks
- Experience assessing and implementing benefit programs across multiple countries, managing external vendors, brokers, and consultants, and providing regional market and regulatory insight to global benefits strategy and design
- Strong analytical capability and comfort working with compensation data, financial models, and market data
- Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in a rapidly evolving environment, making pragmatic decisions with incomplete information
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with credibility to advise senior HR and business leaders and collaborate across global, regional, and country teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Experience in a rapidly scaling biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences or similarly dynamic international organization
- Experience translating global Total Rewards strategy and frameworks into pragmatic regional and local solutions during significant organizational build-up
Aufgaben
- Serve as the regional Total Rewards subject matter expert and strategic advisor
- Partner with European HR leadership, HR Business Partners, Global Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and external partners
- Shape the European Total Rewards execution roadmap with Global Total Rewards
- Align regional priorities and implementation plans with global Total Rewards philosophy, strategy, and frameworks
- Translate global compensation and benefits strategies into regional and country-level execution
- Balance global consistency with local market competitiveness and regulatory requirements
- Implement scalable regional Total Rewards processes and local governance practices
- Support European expansion and new-country launches
- Provide regional market intelligence and recommendations for compensation benchmarking
- Inform globally owned salary structures, ranges, and compensation guidelines
- Provide local compensation consultation for new hires, promotions, internal moves, and retention
- Apply global frameworks to European market and country compensation requirements
- Partner on the regional execution of annual compensation processes
- Ensure consistent application of global frameworks and timelines for salary reviews, promotions, and incentive planning
- Provide European analysis and recommendations on pay competitiveness, internal equity, and market trends
- Support the development and application of global job architecture, leveling, and compensation frameworks
- Partner on the regional implementation of short- and long-term incentive programs, including equity
- Provide European market practices and implementation expertise for global benefits strategy
- Assess country benefit programs and European market data
- Manage annual benefit renewals
- Provide local market, regulatory, and employee insights
- Coordinate with European People Operations on local benefit implementation and administration
- Identify opportunities for benefit harmonization while recognizing country differences
- Provide regional input to inform globally owned benefit design and vendor strategy
- Lead European readiness and execution for evolving compensation regulation
- Advise on country requirements for compensation regulation, including EU Pay Transparency Directive
- Partner on pay equity analysis and remediation strategies
- Ensure Total Rewards execution reflects local employment, tax, social security, and employee-representation requirements
- Advise on associated country and regulatory considerations for Total Rewards
- Build European Total Rewards analytics and dashboards
- Develop business cases and financial analyses for Total Rewards
- Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance for Total Rewards
- Provide regional Total Rewards input into workforce planning and talent strategies
- Anticipate European market and country requirements for organizational scaling
- Develop clear regional guidance and communications for Total Rewards programs
- Enable HR and managers to explain Total Rewards programs and decisions to employees
