12+ years in Compensation or Total Rewards in global enterprise, 5+ years as manager
Subject matter expert on Mercer International Position Evaluation® or Willis Towers Watson Global Grading System®, job architecture and pay structure design
Strong understanding of leading change in global organizations, especially in European, Middle Eastern/African, and Asian contexts
Experience engaging with Works Councils or Collective Agreement bodies
Deep knowledge of EU Pay Transparency Directive and fair pay initiatives
Facilitating senior Regional/Country leadership hires, including international assignments and transfers
Developing/delivering Compensation training content for employees and leaders
Native speaker fluency in English
Proficiency in major European languages a distinct advantage
University or Masters degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or Human Resources
Strong emphasis on data analytics and modeling, case study resolution, and multi-stakeholder communications
Working knowledge of Workday®
Working knowledge of Syndio® platform
Working knowledge of Payroll systems
Working knowledge of Project Management
Working knowledge of Performance Management
Working knowledge of Sales Incentive Plan design
Experience in Life Science, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or HR/Management Consulting industries

Lead broad-based compensation strategy for international markets
Advise senior leaders on compensation strategy and pay equity
Drive global consistency and local market relevance in compensation programs
Lead compensation strategy design and implementation outside the Americas
Advise HR and business leaders on pay decisions and workforce planning
Advise HR and business leaders on organizational design and talent retention
Design, evolve, and adapt compensation programs
Ensure compensation programs align with Alcon's philosophy and governance
Drive pay equity analyses and remediation strategies
Lead transparency initiatives for compensation
Partner with Compensation Operations for compliance with gender pay gap reporting
Provide strategic insights on external market trends and legislative developments
Lead change management for compensation programs and policies
Establish and maintain governance frameworks for compensation
Develop and lead a high-performing compensation team
