- Support process development for existing and new products
- Support production for existing and new products
- Qualify laboratory equipment
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Comply with technical, organizational, and staff safety measures
- Independently synthesize, characterize, and document synthetic compounds
- Perform analytical method development
- Provide feedback to the laboratory manager on unexpected observations
- Perform and document qualification of laboratory equipment
- Carry out work in accordance with cGMP regulations
- Maintain laboratory quality systems
- Maintain records of synthetic protocols and analytical results
- Follow measures to protect health and the environment
- Control the status and utilization of staff protective gear
- Support and use safety devices and protective equipment
- Induct new employees into the laboratory organization
- Organize routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Request quotes for routine maintenance and new equipment
- Maintain laboratory operations, including raw materials and consumables
- Act as a subject matter expert for external partner inquiries
- Act as a subject matter expert for on-site inspections
- Create laboratory test procedures
- Revise laboratory test procedures
