Anforderungen
- Solid experience building and running production data pipelines
- Ability to spot silent pipeline problems
- Very good Python knowledge for API integrations
- Very good SQL knowledge
- Solid dbt experience
- Good knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents
- Clear communication, especially in writing
- Care for data quality, tests, and architecture
- Comfortable saying no to unfit changes
- Enjoyment of talking to users and finding concrete results
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Trino, Iceberg, columnar data storage, Airbyte, or Cube.js is a plus
- Kubernetes/Terraform exposure is a plus
- Elixir or Ruby experience is a plus
- Experience in media or advertising is a plus
- Ambitious and sharp mind
- Work permission and residence in Germany or willingness to relocate
- Laptop running Linux or Mac
Aufgaben
- Co-own the data area of the media-planning platform end-to-end
- Manage APIs from advertising platforms to the analytics layer
- Develop analytics for media plans, dashboards, and billing-grade reports
- Decide what AI-generated code gets built and how it fits together
- Translate customer needs and business outcomes into clear direction
- Maintain data connectors to platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads
- Ensure client data flows despite provider changes or deprecations
- Model and normalize data using dbt and SQL
- Implement data quality features like deduplication and freshness checks
- Reconcile data against platform reports
- Maintain reliable nightly client pipelines
- Drive incidents to root cause, distinguishing provider, client, and system issues
- Document incident findings
- Extend the multi-tenant semantic layer with new metrics and row-level security
- Help build out the lakehouse platform
- Collaborate closely with users, client relations, and other teams
- Shape the process of working with AI agents
- Contribute to improving the engineering process with AI agents
