Anforderungen
- Degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, (Business) Informatics or Finance
- Ability to translate frameworks (BAIT, MaRisk, DORA, EU AI Act) into technical requirements
- Define automated data controls, lineage, and quality metrics for auditors
- Understand and translate data minimization, anonymization, and 'Right to be Forgotten' principles into technical concepts
- Solid understanding of data management principles (ETL/ELT, data-warehousing, Git, CI/CD, automated testing)
- Ability to work with modern data stack and manage governance artefacts as code
- Mentoring and inspiring team members
- Strategic thinking and sense of business criticality and prioritisation
Aufgaben
- Administer and own the company-wide data catalog, defining regulatory data assets, updating the business glossary, and categorizing technical metadata.
- Develop automated end-to-end data lineage across operational and analytical systems.
- Develop the Data Governance Operating Model in compliance with BCBS 239, DORA, and GDPR.
- Develop policies and procedures for data management and access.
- Define and maintain ownership concept for data products, from data marts to applications.
- Define data owners and resolve conflicts based on data governance policies.
- Design company-wide data contracts and translate them into detailed technical requirements.
- Represent the department in audits, handling data requests and documentation.
- Define, maintain, and follow SLAs for the data platform and critical data elements.
- Develop the data quality framework and design quality controls for critical data elements.
- Persuade product teams and engineering leads to prioritize data governance and documentation.
- Mediate disputes over data ownership objectively.
- Simplify complex data concepts and train "Data Champions" across business units.
- Design "lean" governance workflows that protect the bank without slowing innovation.
- Work with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows.
- Think critically about AI outputs and contribute to responsible AI use.
- Continuously develop AI capabilities as technology evolves.
