Aufgaben
- Define and execute global logistics and distribution strategy
- Harmonize and optimize logistics processes, partner ecosystems, and systems
- Establish logistics standards, policies, and governance
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across all flows
- Ensure high service levels and operational reliability
- Continuously improve cost, lead time, inventory accuracy, and warehouse performance
- Manage the global logistics budget
- Drive sustainable cost reductions in logistics
- Support freight procurement and contract negotiations
- Enable data-driven performance management through reporting and dashboards
- Redesign distribution networks and optimize the global network
- Improve transportation lanes and warehouse structures
- Lead major logistics transformation initiatives like automation and system implementations
- Balance global logistics consistency with regional needs
- Drive logistics digitalization, resilience, and compliance
- Improve WMS, TMS, and analytics
- Ensure strong cross-functional system integration
- Proactively mitigate geopolitical, regulatory, capacity, and disruption risks
- Ensure customs compliance
- Reduce the environmental footprint of logistics operations
- Support ESG targets and reporting
- Lead an international logistics team
- Partner effectively with senior stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, IT, and external logistics providers
