- Define and lead global procurement strategy across Direct and Indirect categories
- Align procurement strategy with business priorities, financial goals, operational needs, and growth ambitions
- Own procurement governance and spend performance
- Establish group-wide policies, ethical sourcing standards, and robust control frameworks
- Optimize value across approximately CHF 750 million annual spend
- Drive strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Develop and implement category strategies
- Implement supplier segmentation
- Lead contract negotiations
- Manage supplier performance
- Foster innovation partnerships with suppliers
- Monitor supplier risk
- Elevate Indirect Procurement excellence
- Professionalize decentralized spend areas
- Standardize sourcing approaches
- Strengthen demand management
- Partner effectively with IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Logistics functions
- Strengthen supply resilience, compliance, and sustainability
- Mitigate supplier and geopolitical risks
- Ensure adherence to trade and ethical standards
- Embed ESG criteria into sourcing, supplier selection, and performance reporting
- Lead procurement transformation and capability building
- Advance digitalization within procurement
- Improve data quality and visibility for procurement
- Embed best-in-class procurement processes
- Build a high-performing international procurement organization
- Engage with executive stakeholders
