- Several years of applied Data Science and Machine Learning experience
- Delivering data science or ML products in production
- Proven people management experience
- Enjoying enabling colleagues
- Experimentation, A/B testing, causal measurement, or power analysis experience

- Credible technical partner on modelling, evaluation, data quality, and ML practices
- Strong Python expertise

- Experience with demand forecasting, replenishment, retail, sponsored ads, e-commerce, or complex operational data science products (plus)

- Balance business needs with analytical rigor

- Advise product teams on A/B testing
- Advise product teams on success metrics
- Advise product teams on statistical methodology
- Advise product teams on power analyses
- Advise product teams on interpretation of experimental results
- Collaborate with fellow Data & AI leaders
- Shape team priorities
- Share expertise with Data & AI leaders
- Build complementary capabilities
- Raise the overall technical standard of the organisation
- Contribute to team growth through hiring
- Contribute to team growth through onboarding
- Build out the Data Science function
