- Take ownership of a defined supplier portfolio or category
- Ensure seamless execution within the purchasing process
- Contribute to inventory optimization and operational excellence
- Design and implement a clear category structure across all spend
- Identify key leverage areas, critical dependencies, and bottleneck categories
- Lead high-impact cross-functional projects
- Take ownership of critical initiatives such as the Raw Material Replacement project
- Align stakeholders across procurement, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Operations
- Build transparency across the procurement landscape by structuring and analyzing spend data
- Enable better decisions, prioritization, and negotiation strategies
- Introduce structured risk frameworks across suppliers and categories
- Integrate quality and supply risk to strengthen long-term resilience
- Identify and execute COGS reduction opportunities through deep data analysis
- Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) thinking
- Conduct targeted supplier negotiations
- Further develop and refine procurement processes (e.g. P2P workflows, SOPs)
- Ensure scalability, clarity, and high adoption of procurement processes across the team
