- Align procurement strategies with company objectives
- Build strategic worldwide supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Ensure supplier quality meets market demands
- Monitor and analyze the procurement market
- Identify market trends, new technologies, and potential suppliers
- Plan and manage the procurement budget
- Ensure cost-effective resource utilization
- Establish company-wide procurement guidelines
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements
- Identify and minimize procurement risks
- Coordinate and carry out all procurement activities
- Establish supplier relationships with the quality department
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, and delivery
- Make informed supplier selections
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, payment terms, and contractual provisions
- Identify and implement measures to improve purchasing efficiency
- Lead and develop the procurement team
- Oversee professional development of the procurement team
- Set SMART objectives aligned with company strategy
- Develop internal potential
