Anforderungen
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Understanding of aerospace design and manufacturing ecosystem
- Practical experience in A/C assembly as structure mechanic or process engineer
- In-depth knowledge of GPS, tolerance stack-up, chain analysis, industrial metrology, and tooling to part datum strategies
- Engineering mechanics: statics and electrostatics
- Strong knowledge aerostructures joining techniques and processes
- CATIA/3DX & Delmia for design analysis, accessibility checks, and build process development
- CATIA Functional Tolerancing & Annotation
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
- Knowledge in German advantageous
- Creative approach to solving complex industrial challenges
- Design for Manufacturing & Assembly Mindset
- Ability to work in changing, unplanned environments, making assumptions and starting with incomplete requirements
- Ability to propose and implement innovative manufacturing process solutions
- Openness to emerging technologies and manufacturing methodologies

- Enthusiasm to learn new skills
Aufgaben
- Study aircraft digital mock-up using CAD systems
- Derive assembly concepts and simulations in Delmia
- Lead development of aircraft structure assembly sequence
- Lead development of build process strategy with Operations, Jigs & Tools, Systems Installation, and Airframe design
- Establish assembly station layout and line concept with Jigs & Tools specialist
- Support prototype construction with early build process
- Design industrial stations and docks for assembly hangar
- Meet specific takt requirements for series production
- Contribute to cost assessments and trade-off studies
- Drive tolerance stack-up and tooling-to-part interface analysis
- Support integration of systems installation into structural assembly sequence
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Airbus Standards
- Ensure tooling complies with airworthiness requirements
- Ensure work instructions comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Participate in technology and innovation projects
- Advance Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL)
